Check engine light was "flashing" since I was 1/4 mile or less from the house, I was able to limp the car home and called dealership. Car started shaking and smell of burning oil was present. Turned onto main highway and was unable to accelerate. Pulled off the road, shut off car, waited a few moments and restarted. Car was idling rough, was unable to accelerate, traction control light came on, check engine light came on. *attempted* to drive back home and experienced same problems as daughter. Battery / starter checked ok, alternator checked out as bad. 2 miles, where they checked the battery, starter and alternator. Dad's comments: Drove car to advanced auto parts, approx. Turned around and returned to house so dad could look at it and sister drove me to work in her car. Left for work and car was jerking, loosing power and would not accelerate. Car was working fine the previous day and had not been started / driven since. Started 2015 Chevy Trax in driveway and it started idling very rough. They told me that GM would consider under warranty allowing for MSRP charge and GM would cover 10% and I would be responsible for the remaining $7600 No recall on engine. Towed to Karl Tyler Lewiston Chevrolet, Lewiston, Id. Vehicle lost all compression car would not move forward I was on a curve going upward on an incline no shoulder, I put the car in neutral and allowed it to coast downhill till I could get to a place where it could be off road. On on my way home while traveling uphill the check engine light came on. The following day again check engine light, again code P300 misfire was told sometimes the computer retains codes. Took the vehicle back to the dealership again a code P300 misfire. the following morning on my way to work at 3:30AM the check engine light came on. The dealership said it had a code P300 misfire and replaced the coil, sparkplugs and oil change. I experienced the check engine light and stabil trak light came on engine lost compression. Ground and Freight delivery is beyond the Seller’s control.On 02/02/21 My 2015 Chevy Trax LTZAWD mileage 96,612 was taken to Karl Tyler Lewiston Chevrolet, Lewiston, Idaho. Seller is not responsible for delays in ground or freight shipments. Parts and deposits left over 30 days shall be forfeited.ĥ. A minimum deposit of 50% is required for all special orders.Ĥ. Warrantor shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to labor, installation, removal or use of merchandise.Ģ.
